Inspired InsightsToday is my final day in a position I have held for 8 years and 7 days. I feel a weight lifting as I cathartically write this post, as I have hidden this fact on LinkedIn.
We all feel better when we have transparency showing up fully.
For 4 years, I stayed put and managed to be resourceful, diving down internet rabbit holes and cobbling together concepts from digital resources. With endless information at our fingertips, you might wonder why companies should invest in travel for their design teams. The answer lies in the irreplaceable magic of real-world, immersive experiences. I believe these shape creative thinking and fuel innovation.
I'm hosting an exclusive in-person trend forecasting pop-in to reconnect, inspire, and share insights that will shape the future of design.
Be among the first to preview my macro trends for color, textiles, fashion, home, and beauty. This is going to be a fantastic opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations with fellow creatives and industry leaders.
My macro trends will spark innovation through collaborative discussion in an intimate setting.
Seattle creatives i encourage you to step away from screens and connect.
2025 is the year of the snake, and coincidently also the year i was born. While I have zero interest in getting up close and personal with the legless creatures, they are providing a powerful metaphor for personal transformation. The wellness trend continues to evolve and embrace spirituality, and I have been hearing the term “shedding”. Just as snakes periodically shed their skin, we too are being called to release what no longer serves us and embrace new growth. We are seeing this growth manifest in more intentionality; intentionality about building community, listening carefully, asking questions, choosing where we spend our money, and what thoughts we let take up space in our minds.
